Have you purchased an ‘unlimited’ hosting package?

Many big name hosts ‘oversell’ there hosting plans on a given web server.  For example, if a web server supports 1,000 websites comfortably – a big name host will put 10 times that amount on the server.  They are betting on the fact that you will not use the allocated space / bandwidth that your hosting plan came with.  This can cause the server to be overloaded, and your site to load slowly.

I only host as many sites that the server can comfortably handle.  On top of that my servers are located on the east-coast and on the west-coast to provide high speed access to your viewer base.  On average my clients have noticed a 4x speed increase when hosting with me.

Has your website crashed?

Many big name web hosts have limitations on the amount of users that can be on your website at once.  If your website makes a headline, your website could have hundreds of users at once on it.  This could easily crash your website.
